Shenanigans: Once you’ve been tagged, you have to write a note with 16 random things, shortcomings, facts, habits or goals about you. At the end choose 6 people to be tagged, listing their names and why you chose them. You can't tag the person who tagged you.
1. I'm 28 years old and I still have a floordrobe. I just can't be bothered to put my clothes away after I wash and fold them. That's enough tedious labor in and of itself.
2. I've wanted to be a paranormal investigator/psychologist for as long as I can remember. I've had experiences my whole life, and I first started seriously studying it when I was in third grade. At nine years old I could explain the difference between a haunting (residual, intelligent, and poltergeist) as opposed to demonic manifestations. This has just always been my "thing."
3. I truly despise the fact that the "hero" of any given story always seems to win. Where's the love for the "villains"? I put it in quotes because they're usually only villanous because they want change, and change is often feared because it's different. Thus they are feared and therefore "villanous", "scary", etc. Why do people want to stay the same so much? Don't they realize that they're stagnating in their own juices? Least, that's my logic on it.
4. I don't have any shortcomings. I'm too awesome! HA! No, if I have any it's that I'm too rational (I can rationalize ANY idea/POV/etc.and it makes me rather unemotional and distant) and very self depricating.
5. One of the coolest things I've ever gotten to do in my whole life is hold a real human brain in my hands. It had to be one of the most amazed and wonderous moments ever, for me. To think that this strange, wrinkly, squishy thing used to hold an entire entity. All of their thoughts, memories, experiences, and it fits neatly into my cupped hands. How amazing is that?
6. "There are more things in Heaven and Earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy." This is the only thing that I will ever say I believe in wholeheartedly. I believe in it because I know it, beyond the shadow of any doubt. There are so many different modes of existence, so many different levels, and the number of self-manifesting entities is vaster than the ocean of stars our little rock floats in.
7. I don't dream like the average person. I either have nightmares, or I recieve information. Be it future references or to clarify the present. Those are both rare occurrences. The rest of the time it's black.
8. My nickname in high school was Death. I was always the weird, spooky girl, kind of like "Carrie." I never did anything to discourage it either because it made me laugh.
9. When I was in high school I used to balance chemical equations for fun. It's really weird though because beyond that, I absolutely suck at math. Hell, it took me two years to learn how to count money and tell time. I still have trouble with those two.
10. I have had a one night stand before. It totally was not worth it.
11. This meme is among the harder things I've done in my life. I'm a very private, standoffish, independent type of person and I hate talking about myself. However, I have always stated that if someone cares/is interested enough to ask, I will answer. (I am sitting here fighting with myself to not delete this thing.)
12. I absolutely hate mirrors. Nothing good can come from them and you cannot know what's on the other side looking back at you, or what may come through them. I'm going to be investing in some double sided velcro and black cloth to cover the two in my bathroom. They are the only mirrors in my apartment and I will not go into that room without turning on the light first and keeping my eyes locked right on that damn thing.
13. My favorite disease is the Bubonic Plague. You have to have respect for anything that can completely ravage the body and kill you in three days flat, as well as taking out six million people. Ebola is a very close second. Organ liquification for the win.
14. I am hopelessly, shamelessly addicted to spider solitaire. I have played 2515 games on my new laptop. I've only won 308. *ahem*
15. I collect t-shirts, plushies, weaponry, and music. The more unique the better. Like my Christmas Cthulhu who wears a santa hat and a red and white striped scarf. He also has bells on his tentacles. I have several shirts that talk about how awesome I am and: Fight Poverty. Work! My next sharp acquisition will be a solid oak bat with iron spikes on it. Music, well. That speaks for itself. I would rather die than live without music.
16. I enjoy playing Resident Evil a lot. I also work in a hospital. So, when I'm alone in the hallways, which is quite often, I start sneaking around with my ears stretched out and listening for "zombie noises." Lucky for me, I have two "hand" guns in case anything ever does show up.
All the people I have wished to tag have already been tagged, so I tag you all to do with this as you please. Take it or leave it. Whichever you prefer~ |
